I'm sure it'll be great to have on your CV and a lot of employers will look for it. However, practically, will it actually add any knowledge or expand the skills/mind-set of SAM practitioners? Have people found it a decent 'upgrade' to the previous version of the exam?
Because it is so focused on the Microsoft way of thinking, I'm worried new people to the industry will think the Microsoft SAM way is the best way. In fact, take bits and pieces from Microsoft, ITIL, ITAM Review Courses, BCS etc and mix it with what has worked best for you.
