Indirect Access is currently audited on selected customers. The audits that include indirect access requests are called enhanced audits. SAP has to clearly state in the measurement request letter the scope of the audit. If assessment of the indirect access is included, this means that you are one of the selected customers for this type of activities.
Within the indirect access scope, SAP may requests you to provide various data such as:
- Business Process Worksheet where data is exchanged between non SAP applications and your productive systems.
- Business Process Diagram with the application landscape.
- List of entities using SAP software.
- Systems data extracts that includes list of tables and transactions (i.e. table VBAK, VABP).
The list of requested data is quite extensive and it can vary from one customer to other. Based on the received output of the above, SAP might come back with additional question and further requests. Please note that SAP can conduct also onsite audits at any time, even after completing SAP Basic/Standard Audit or Enhanced Audit.
