When a EULA is missing
This question came from our UK conference in October.
An ITAM Review reader writes:
"We are being audited on ancient software purchased in 2006 but the EULA is missing. The vendor keeps sending us their EULA from 2009 which supports their claim that the licenses are core-based"
"Our angle is that virtualization was immature in 2006 and licenses were server based and therefore compliant. We suspect that they aren't providing the 2006 EULA because it proves our view. How can we move forward?"
